The staff at the reception at my arrival was good and responsive.

My departure from the hotel was not well coordinated, but all was solved at the end.

The steep road up to the property was difficult but once we arrived everything was great. Comfortable room, beautiful view, friendly and accommodating staff, nice breakfast.

The staff provided great costumer service. They were very friendly and welcoming.

The place wasn't too well maintained. The room I stayed in look a little bit run-down. Management should put a little more love into the place. When it comes to maintenance and the overall cleanliness of the rooms. Make the rooms look like actual hotel rooms. Another major issue I had was the location. The place can barely be accessed by car. The road to the hotel is extremely narrow, uneven, and is built at a 90° angle. I am not even joking. The driver who took me to the airport. Had to place the car in reverse, than let it rolled down the road. In an effort to get down the hill safely.

Il faut dire que la rentrée était un peu effrayante . Quand j'ouvre le robinet de la douche pour rincer ma bouche , ça donne toujours une audeur de boue( dlo rigòl en kreyòl.) peut-être qu'il a une fuite au conduit... J'espère un jour que vous achèterez les petites maisins a la route d'entrée afin dembelir de plus en plus la rentrée et avoir un terrain de foot ou plus.

Bad internet connection, mosquitoes everywhere, cats are so annoying don’t even let you eat in peace, tv not working and to make matters worse I couldn’t even take a drink to my room.

View was excellent! The restaurant had very good food. The grounds were quiet and well-kept. Lots of places to sit and relax. Clean and refreshing pool. Comfortable beds, genuinely hot water (a rarity in Haiti), sheets and towels changed daily - where else do you get that these days? Entertainment one evening was a bonus! Visited Plaj Comier twice and the Citadel. Habitation des Laurier is a great place to spend time with friends and catch up. Great value for the money! I will definitely be back!

The only drawback was the hotel shuttle/taxi system. I will preface this by the fact that for part of my week at the hotel, 2 of 5 of the vehicles were down for maintenance. The taxi was never sent to pick me up at the airport. Fortunately, I am fluent in Creole and found another driver, but for more money than the hotel charged. I don't know what someone without Haitian Creole skills would have done. The hotel provided taxis at reasonable prices, but their communication with the riders could be improved. . . . Other than that, everything was great!
