If you are driving there’s no way to bring a car on top of hill , I have to rebook for another hotel because it unsafe to drive on top of that hill , the road is so narrow, don’t wast your and your money, nothing you see on the website is real , when I get there I was surprise . The main thing is I did reserve a room with double Beds , someone from the hotel ask me how many people will be sleeping in the room , I ask him why do you ask , he answered if you are by yourself you don’t need two bed , I said I already pay for that room he said he there’s not matter . I went there for sure , for my safety I chose not to stay there . Please people don’t go there . It’s up to you ! Don’t say someone warns you!

"$742 to spend one week in hell."

4.0

Let’s get this out of the way: this place is NOT a hotel. In fact it is contrary to what a hotel stands for. They are NOT in the business of providing good service to their customers, but they are only there to collect money. Let’s run down the list, shall we?! Chapter 1 - The Arrival I arrived at this place on August 9,2025 at around 4:30/5pm local time. I booked on booking.com a room with 2 beds. When I got there however, they gave me a room with one bed. Their senseless explanation was that I was traveling alone. When they took me to my room, which located on the second floor, the air conditioner was not on. So the room was like a furnace. When tried to turn on the air conditioner, it didn’t work. The male hotel staff who accompanied me to the room told me that the air conditioner is on a generator power source and I will be able to turn it on only when they turn the generator power source on at 6pm local time. So I had to spend an entire hour in room that was as hot as a furnace. The fan couldn’t cool off the room. I had to keep the noisy fan running in order to get a semblance of cooling. Chapter 2 - The internet connection To get WiFi on my phone, I had to go down to the reception room in order to ask. They had some app on a phone that they carry that generates a long number that i needed to put on my phone to get internet connection. I had a laptop, so I had to repeat the process. Chapter 3 - The curious case of their steam iron device Lo and behold, I needed to iron a piece of cloth. I had to go downstairs 4 times to the reception office to request. They only have one iron device for the entire hotel. In my case, when I requested it the very first time, they didn’t have it in the reception room, so they ask me to come back (not that they would bring it to my room). The second time I went, they identified in what room it was, but the person was sleeping. I returned a third time and again a fourth a last time.

Chapter 4 - The air conditioner rationing In this place, the air conditioner is rationed like bread. They turn on the generator power source at 6pm local time until 4/5am the next day. They turned it on again at noon. The temperature was extremely hot in Cap-Haitian during the day when the sun was high in the sky. So nobody could stay in their room before noon. I had to go down to the bar where there was fresh air, with my laptop to work remotely. It will never make sense to me that in a country that is so hot, a place that calls itself a hotel, decide to ration electricity. One night the generator itself broke and me and several other guest in that place had to endure a harrowing night without air conditioner. Chapter 5 - The old house on top of the hill In order to reach that place, there is one narrow road that leads you there. Only one car can be on that road at any given moment. Imagine what is going to happen when two cars going in each other’s opposite direction. To the owners of that place, don’t trap people by making them believe that you are offering a service that you can’t in reality. First, you are wasting people’s hard earned money and time. I didn’t pay you $742 to go through that hell that you had setup for all of us. To anyone who is thinking about booking this place, do so at your own risks and peril.
