This was not what I expected. Very outdated. The room smelled musty and the owner had the windows open to air it out when we arrived but didn't help much. Bed sheets were very stiff and old. Bathroom sink was very hard to use. Wall outlets were not up to code. Don't be fooled by keyless-as had to use a key to get in room. Owner was not very friendly. I would Not recommend this motel to anyone.

Definitely a 2 star motel; old and worn but clean. With some upgrades this place could be a cool, funky stay. Mattress had us rolling to the middle of the bed. Price was definitely high for what you get.

The reviews are misleading, so is the description. No heated pool, hot tub closed, the playground is 2 swings. Old, outdated and not well maintained. Very disappointing. We booked via Airbnb and the owner hasn’t updated it in years. Feeling like I was tricked.

This was a 1950's motel with no upgraded conveniences. Bathroom faucets wouldn't turn off, big black spiders in sleeping area, no hair dryer, no breakfast and no one on duty in the office.
One of the few places to stay in Franconia (motels, that is, vs. B&Bs), this is a quiet, convenient old-fashioned 'Mom & Pop' motel. Dated but adequate. Does offer a micro fridge & microwave, but bathroom very small, beds old with soft mattresses. Internet good, park right at your door. No ice machine, no morning coffee. Somewhat expensive for what's offered, but it's available.
This was a quaint, dated facility. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are a couple chairs on the front porch. This place is a little dated (a shallow, blue tub, for example). But what they don’t have for modern convenience they make up for in cleanliness and coziness. We had 3 people on our trip (husband, son, and self) and it worked well for us. All of the necessary staples were there: microwave, small fridge, closet, and tv), all in working order. If you just want a quiet, peaceful place to rest after a long day outdoors, this place is great. The manager left the key in our room for our arrival and we were able to leave it in the same place for our departure. We didn’t get to try the pool but the area was neat and the water looked great. Definitely will return for our next trip.
