Banyan tree

I was attending performances at Buxton Opera and was looking for overnight accommodation. This fitted the bill perfectly. Neil was very welcoming and showed be around the room. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a 10 minute walk to the theatre.

This is not a criticism of the room but there is no local free parking. I had to park some distance away or incur parking charges.

Not a dal beaker but a towel for the bathroom floor would have been welcome

Good sizeable room in a lovely Georgian style building. Very spacious bathroom with both bath and shower.

I visited Buxton for the opera and stayed one night. The hotel is very central, a short walk from the Opera House and the Pavilion Gardens. There's free parking between 6pm and 8am across the road. My room was large, clean and comfortable. The food is very good in the Thai restaurant downstairs. All the staff were friendly and helpful
