Banyan tree

Quieter location than expected being so close to the centre of Buxton

Chargeable parking opposite the Banyan Tree, but as I arrived after 6pm and left before 8am I did not incur any parking charges

Excellent location, plenty of pay and display parking but it’s cheap anyway. Nice rooms, well equipped.

No toilet door, it needs some sort of door. Also the bed was a bit small, I understand it’s a double bed but too small.

It was clean, well equipped, great location, very polite and helpful. Easy for amenities.

Accommodation was perfect nothing to add

The flat was clean and comfortable. Its well situated for the Opera house being a pleasant 10 min walk away. The icing on the cake is a really good Thai restaurant on the ground floor.

It's difficult to find as the name is nowhere to be seen on the building.

Our room was absolutely immaculate, very tastefully and prettily done. The staff were really friendly and the rooms are really well located. Highly recommended.

absolutely nothing

NOT a guest house it’s a room above a large Thai restaurant in a run down part of Buxton. The entry was down a cobblestone alley way and the man proposed we enter the property through a slim door set in a grimy wall. No lighting was evident. When we refuse to go in he got very aggressive saying we could cancel but with no refund. As to the mere 450 yards to the Opera House one has to cross a busy road and walk down a very steep narrow road. Not for the fainhearted.
