Lovely room on the first floor. Excellent Thai restaurant on the ground floor below.

Neil gave us a warm welcome and everything was ready when we arrived. The room has everything that you need and it's very central. We also had dinner in Neil's restaurant (in the same building as the guest room - Khomkhai Thai Cuisine ) - absolutely delicious!!! And such a cozy atmosphere too! Couldn't recommend it more!!

unexpected last minute trip, resulting in a quick search and booking one of the first options i found. turned out to be a great place to stay, fantastic sized room very comfortable with a bath and shower available in the room. great location within the centre of Buxton without being noisy, fantastic Thai restaurant located below. look forward to staying again.

Great location, the room was very well presented. we had Tv with Netflix, coffee making facilities, shower products, towels, hairdryer. The only negative was people drinking outside at the restaurant below who were being noisy well after midnight, it was new year so can’t really complain. would come here again. Great base for getting out.

10/10 for the Banyan Tree on all counts. The room was spotlessly clean, large with all new furnishings and a large walk-in bathroom including plenty of towels etc. All the usual hotel room requirements laid on including a small fridge, foot of bed TV and card operated entrance doors. Hot/Cold Buxton water at all times and two radiators to keep things warm in these Autumn times. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Car parking is literally across the road outside and the area is very quiet at night. We had a great two night stay and everything we needed was a short walk away- excellent.

Neil and Khomkhai were fantastic hosts. The room was fully equipped with everything you needed and exceptional clean. The food served in their Thai restaurant was amazing, best I've had. Fantastic stay and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
