Hot tub was not ready

Absolutely stunning lodge, attention to detail was immaculate. Perfect amount of privacy, we can’t wait to rebook and come back!

Beautiful cabin and location, hot tub was definitely a lovely plus to our stay. Clean, nicely furnished with most facilities well stocked, such as kitchen equipment, cutlery, pans, cleaning materials.

Lack of wi-fi was a suprise, but that could have been because of the rural location. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was not available in the bathrooms, which is not what I expect from a place somewhat far away from the closest shops.

The lodge was beautiful inside and out loved all the rooms inside and the outdoor decking and hot tub.

The only fault we had was the televisions only had 1 working television in the far bedroom which only worked sometimes and because the weather was awful would of been nice to watch but I understand the signal may not be good because of where it’s situated

The decor was beautiful. Location was good. Log fire,luxury bedding and towels

Problems with hot tub and maintenance issues

it was beautifully appointed and had lots of lovely features

The external doors (excepting the front door) did not lock - due to warping. Having children with us, it felt a little unsafe

very spacious and clean. it is a beautiful place perfect for families

we loved how cosy the lodge was with the fire burning. the facilities were good. beds were comfy (well ours was we stayed in the master room). the location was great with the supermarket near by.

lacked some general maintenance. fridge door handle fell off (was already hanging on when we arrived), the doors leading to the hot tub had dropped so needed slamming to shut and they didn’t lock. we had to clean the fire out before use. could of done with heating on abit earlier. we did try to change it but struggled and was unsuccessful. could of done with more mugs, glasses, plates ect. sofa not very comfy
