Villa Athina Finiki

Beautiful villa and surroundings with plenty of space. Great swimming pool and lovely staff.

Few things could be undated , but on the whole grate space to entertain your guests.

Have been several times to these villas and are ideal for a nice quiet stay yet not too far from all the restaurants. We had a problem one night after a horrendous thunderstorm which caused the villa to be flooded. Contacted the emergency no and the cleaners were there in less than 10 minutes and cleared up the mess and solved the problem. Birds had nested in the drainage system on the balconies!!

I was under the understanding it was a fully private villa. This was not the case as we were above another villa. We had a ground floor bedroom and heard the villa below. Their tv, chatter and noises like hammering on the morning. I slept lightly to listen for our children who were on a different floor and was often woken by downstairs. I often saw people around, which wasn’t ideal when I thought it was private and I was in my swimming things. And our children were with us so didn’t feel totally at ease when other people were in our space. It took a while to release it was a shared villa and couldn’t work the noises out. This should not be advertised as private. I would have booked somewhere slightly different. The water was sometimes not on and showers very poor in pressure. I understand this can happen but a manual explaining so would have been helpful.

Large villa, spotlessly clean. An excellent location for Latchi and the harbour, restaurants and water-sports. Comfortable beds and good air-con in the bedrooms. Pool was huge and private and was kept very clean and there was a midweek villa clean with towel change. Hosts were helpful when we raised a problem.

There are some ants as you’d expect in a hot country, problem helped with some ant killer from a local supermarket. More toilet roll would have been good!
