Light Horse Inn

The location is within walking distance of the town. The breakfast was delicious both days. The room was a good size. However, even though there was a cable outlet on the wall, there was no tv.

Half the openings in the shower head didn't work because it was clogged. The water left mineral deposits in the sink, and it was clogged as well. They switched our room at arrival because they said they had a wasp issue in the original room. When I messaged them that we had a wasp in the new room the next day, they never responded. We found a few dust bunnies floating around the room.

Historic building was very nice!! Really like the main level rooms and had a nice breakfast. Good parking.

Our Attic space was large but outdated. Could use a few new improvements like the downstairs spaces.

The rooms are very spacious and furnished with older items in keeping with the decor. If yiu are ecpecting a modern place look elsewhere. The WiFi is good. The breakfast is excellent, though the chef is the only member of the staff we saw.

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast, 1 mile up the hill from the Harpers Ferry historic district. The house itself was charming, I enjoyed exploring it. I absolutely loved my room, with it's old school furnishings and a jetted tub - perfect for soaking after a long day of hiking. Megan, the Chef and manager was terrific. Her breakfasts were delicious, including the omelettes she made with tomatoes from her garden. Plenty of parking - I actually never moved the car until I checked out. I worked from the outdoor seating area a couple of mornings. Be warned it's an uphill walk from the historic district, so folks with mobility challenges will want to drive it, but I enjoyed the slow stroll upwards at the end of each day, with cookies in the kitchen left for guests as an evening treat. I would absolutely stay again.

Megan couldn't have been nicer! She cooked an awesome breakfast and gave us advice about the various things to do around town. Good location. Clean room. Historic, period furnished facility.

There is nothing negative to say from our perspective.

The room was really nice.

Our AC did not work and nothing was done about it. The WiFi was terrible. They told us if we paid the remainder of our balance in cash we could get a 10% discount but we never saw anyone to discuss this with. They also said there was a shuttle that went into Harpers Ferry but once again no one was around to talk to us about the schedule of it and there was no information on it. The breakfast was mediocre. And we never got our grab and go on the day we left.

The proprietor was lovely, breakfast was home made and unique every day (honored allergies), room was spacious and bed was very soft. Games available in the den, parking.

Breakfast was awesome. The chief and innkeeper Saturday morning was amazing, describing the plated breakfast and giving us tips for our visit to Harpers Ferry.

Incredible breakfast, lovely staff, cozy room, powerful AC for the Summer heat, 2 min walk from yummy eats, and great value
