I received a warm welcome when I checked in at the bar, so after leaving my luggage up in my room, even as a lone female traveller I was happy enough to head downstairs and enjoy a couple of pints in the bar before heading out to a gig at night. I remembered that there was something shared bathroom-wise in my booking but on entering my room, I found a sink and a shower so I only had to leave my room to use the WC. There were 2 of them shared by however many rooms were on the floor, I didn't count how many rooms there were in the corridor but it can't have been any more than half a dozen. The toilets were clean and I never had to queue tor them. I was in a single bed and it was a much softer mattress than what I'm used to but I slept like a log, right through the night. I wasn't entirely sure of the bar's opening hours but I returned back to my accommodation at about 11pm after being at a gig at Stockton Globe and the bar was already closed so there was no noise to worry about (this was a Thursday night). I slept with my windows closed as the forecast was rain so I never heard any noise from outside either. Would I stay here again? Yes, happily.

There's no breakfast option which didn't bother me, I was up and away early so wouldn't have had time for one anyway. For those who would want breakfast, there are available options nearby.

It was clean and comfortable, TV in room, tea/coffee making facilities too, warm

Not the best location if you're alone/female but ok enough to walk around and grab some food, Lidl is just around the corner, as is a whether spoons
