Earnside Cottage - Charming River Views

Lovely cottage situated in the middle of Comrie. Charming

Wasn’t fitted out with soap and shampoo etc which I expect should be standard. Very clean but loo seats wonky.

Lovely clean and spacious cottage! Also a real homely feel! We loved the area too... some beautiful scenery but also right in the village so could pop to the local butchers and coffee shop !

Beautiful rooms in a lovely setting. Lovely garden area. Comfortable beds and quiet during the night to get a good sleep. Really spacious and neat and tidy and a large house when normally I'd think of a cottage as much smaller.

Issue with hot water tap in en suite bathroom almost running dry and cold sink tap in other upstairs bathroom not work. Bit wobbly toilet seats in both upstairs bathrooms. Plenty pots and pans, but only one oven tray that was a pizza tray and no pizza cutter. Handy to have known lock box on shed had to hunt for it on arrival

Location was great, good sized house and clean and comfortable.

Television didn’t work so had to call someone out. A few maintenance jobs need doing in the upstairs bathrooms - en-suite had a hole in the wall, the trim was hanging off and the shower was old fashioned and the controller was very stiff In the main bathroom the cold water tap on the sink didn’t turn properly so you only got a trickle of water plus the sealer on the bath has come away so needs fixing.

The location for us was perfect. Views from cottage beautiful. Cottage spacious and very well appointed.

Lovely spacious cottage, it felt like a home away from home. Although only three of us, there is plenty of room if you were a party of 6. They had books and games to keep you amused should the weather prevent you from going out. The kitchen had things you always forget like foil, salt& pepper etc. Love to stay again!

Access road is not the best, but you get used to the narrow turn down to the cottage.

Location beautiful by the river. Self catering but kitchen well equipped for all our needs.

The outside bench was a bit broken at one end and one of the toilet seats was loose.
