Nothing to carry bags to room

Location was great. Apart from that, the property did not meet our expectations. We were under the misunderstanding that it was linked to the property across the street called the Cordova Arms. We had stayed there before and expected similar accommodations.

The check-in instructions were delivered late. I had to request them. Upon check-in we found the property was not cleaned properly. We found critters in the shower, a dead roach under the bed, a fly stuck to the vane on the AC and some dirty wet rags left on the window sill. The curtains and blinds in the room did not fully cover the window. To the hosts credit, they fixed it the same day we checked in. However, we were left waiting three days to receive the extra hangers requested on check-in; they only provided two hangers. There were three lamps in the room, only two had bulbs. The final straw was the mattress. It was lumpy and sagging on onside so badly, it felt like I was going to roll off the bed. I reported this to the host after the 2nd night of terrible sleep. Unfortunately it took the host nearly 48 hours to replace the mattress, meaning we had a decent mattress on the last night of the stay. By then we were very tired and unimpressed with the property. Note that we didn't use the pool because the water was extremely murky. We asked to cancel the remaining days of our reservation so we could salvage a few days of our vacation and stay at a better location, but the host did not allow us to cancel.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

There was no staff. Flew in early and had to drag our luggage around all day because we couldn’t get into the room. I asked if we could just drop it off and they said no. Something was leaking in the unit. Every time I got up, the floor was wet. Couldn’t get a late checkout so we will be dragging our luggage around until we can check in to our cruise.

Location was good, room was clean and it was definitely a good amount of space in the room.

I think there should be a front desk and people we can easily contact. The number is helpful but sometimes it's just easier to have someone right there that you can communicate to in person. Or at least have something quickly accessible to the workers.

Very clean, spacious and safe.
