Hyatt Regency Baytown-Houston

Beautiful views, courteous and friendly staff.

Address is not on GPS. Got lost and had to call the hotel for directions to a nearby restaurant to enter into the GPS.

Very nice hotel. Staff is excellent, pleasant, polite. Amenities are nice. Food and beverage is great. Location is (pleasantly) unique. Although close to Houston, it's on it's own little removed peninsula which makes it feel FAR better than staying in some of the other Houston area hotels. Water view all around. Nice sports bar next door. Rooms are very comfortable and well done.

Such a beautiful hotel

Everything. Even the pool!

The restaurant has a horrible selection of food and very poor service. We ate at O’Neills the remainder of our trip. The room was clean upon arrival but housekeeping doesn’t follow requests and failed to replace our glasses after day 1. We complained to management and nothing changed. We also experienced children using the lobby as their persona play room and parents were not supervising their children in the pool area and the kept splashing us when we were trying to lay in the sun. The hotel is way out of the way for any type of conveniences.

It was a busy weekend, but I love the food hear but this time breakfast was cold and they forgot a lot of my order. I payed 60 dollars for cold pancakes and eggs had to ask 3 times for ham and the milk and juice were hot. When I asked why I didn’t get my food when it came out but 30 minutes later I was told they were busy. I did ask to stay later so we left starving at 12. We were going to get lunch there but my kids got restless. I was told lunch was running late.

We stayed for two nights on a road trip around Texas and really loved it here. It felt great to be out of the city, near the bay. We primarily chose this hotel because we had an early start at the NASA space center and it was a really easy and quick car ride to NASA from here. As usual at a Hyatt it was very clean, the staff were super-friendly and they have a great breakfast place with delicious food and loads of options (including a healthy egg white omelet which I highly recommend as it was yummy). Our room was really spacious - with a great bathroom and shower) and we had a lovely view over the bay. They also have a market in the main lobby which does excellent coffee.
