"An ok stay but expensive for what it is"

6.0

The location is cool and has great big open spaces perfect for kids games and rounders. Plenty of parking and great wildlife all around. Good communication before our stay.

It wasn't very clean when we arrived. I had to rewash all the glassware, there was a stale smell throughout, the shower seal and under the toilet seat were visibly dirty. I think for the price there should be a dishwasher and a second proper bed. The sofa bed was small and uncomfortable.

"The location is great, the people were wonderful and the huts comfortable."

10.0

We loved everything about our stay. The location was really interesting and beautiful, the huts were comfortable and quiet and everyone on site couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. Checkout Hansons in Comrie for food, try the fish and chips at the fish and chip shop, have breakfast at hut 21 and find the Linn for a dip. Get chatting to all of the estate staff, they’re great fun (especially Rab!) and ever so helpful.

"Really enjoyed our wee break at the camp scenery was lovely and was peaceful and quiet."

9.0

Location was brilliant the camp was really interesting and museum was very informative and staff were lovely. Breakfasts at cafe 21 were amazing and everyone was so friendly. Accommodation was different from usual holidays we have been on and we loved it.

Nothing negative to say about our accommodation and was really pleased with all equipment in the billet.Would love to go back again .

"Disappointed more in the aftercare service and lack of compensation than the actual issues."

3.0

The aesthetic of the building was great with the old on the outside and new on the inside.

Shower only came out freezing cold or scolding hot with poor pressure, we had 2 leaks. When we informed the management company and explained we had checked into a hotel. They initially responded but decided to stop corresponding as soon as I suggested some contribution or compensation for us moving into a hotel on the last night. I appreciate things happen and the shower being faulty and 2 small leaks in the bedroom area aren't the biggest issues. We took it upon ourselves to check into a hotel and felt that a contribution towards our relocation wasn't a big ask. Its at this point I tried to contact them twice more and found no response.

"It was decent."

7.0

We liked the location, the accommodation is nicely done and fairly well equipped. In the summer must be nice to sit outside and watch the stars. Stunning views.

Beds and sofabed not comfy, we felt every spring. No communication about no central heating, we were unsure if spare heaters were extra or the main source of heat, loads of dusty cobwebs from the ceiling , shower did not hold temperature. Also vent from bathroom would be better to blow outside rather than inside the property.

"Unique stay at one of the last remaining POW camps built in the Uk"

9.0

Beautifully presented refurbished Nissan hut. Bespoke and unusual property that made visiting the Cultybraggan site and museum come to life. There is a new cafe just a few hits away offering delicious breakfast or lunch option.

There was an issue with the central heating and we required to contact the property manager to try and resolve this. Further electric heating was provided but communication was problematic. Eventually this situation was resolved to our satisfaction by Jamie at Clark Property how was understanding and professional.

"All in it’s a fantastic location but not the most comfortable stay."

5.0

Location is fantastic and novelty experience staying in one of the huts. Camp museum is also really good.

Unfortunately the huts heating system is being replaced and there was no central heating (weren’t made aware of this before booking). When we arrived the hut was very cold. One plug in heater had been provided which wasn’t enough to heat the hut. After several chase up phone calls another plug in heater was provided and together both did heat the hut but waste of couple of hours at arrival with admin time needed to chase up the off-site letting agent. Sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable both as sofa and as bed and the main bed mattress is very soft with very flat pillows which doesn’t make for a comfortable nights sleep. Had to give the frying pan a scrub before we could use it as had burnt in food engrained in it. At £125 a night I don’t think I’d stay here again.
