Best Western Clare Hotel

honestly this place was amazing and clean compared to alot of the past hotels we stayed at, there was a lady complaining about breakfast when we were checking out and honestly this hotel has alot more to pick from them 90% of the hotels you stay at these days, like what do you expect them to personally fly in Gordon Ramsey ?

The weeds out side were out of control, ants everywhere, the carpet in room is old and dirty. The vending machine dont work. The lady that worked midnights was outside most of the time talking with some guy in car. Breakfast was not much to choice from. Very unorganized came back from concert and there was no parking available. Had to park on side road.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was lower priced than any hotel closer to Soaring Eagle Casino (where we were attending a concert.) The distance was not very far, and this hotel is very close to all of Clare's dining, fast food, and business district.

Upon arrival, we tried to check in about 45 minute early, and were told no. Not a big deal, we went downtown to eat and kill a little time. We came back after 3 pm check in time and were told that non of the cleaning staff showed up for work, the desk person had to leave the desk to see if there was a clean room for us to check into. Lucky for us (and them... I'm Irish) there was.

This hotel is extremely overpriced!! The room was musty smelling, clean but had an odor, maybe because it’s close to the pool but still. Also the breakfast was not that great, no bagels or muffins just bread to put in the toaster. Some kind of egg item that was rubbery and cold. I mean the location is very rural, it was just off the highway so that was convenient. Thankfully we only used it to change and leave and come back and sleep. It was $206 with taxes, definitely would not pay that for this room again

The hotel overall wasn’t too bad except when getting out of your vehicle you couldn’t stand in one place for long because the sidewalks were covered with ants. The room was okay but the latch on the door kept sticking and if we didn’t make sure it wouldn’t latch and someone could walk right in the room. The breakfast was terrible! They only had some heat and serve sausage links waffles. The fruit was dried out and looked like it had been there for a few days. It looked like they possibly had eggs but the tray was empty. I went to get breakfast at about 9:15 am and very few people were there so I assumed there should some food there??

The room we were staying in was above the lobby, so we heard the door opening every time someone entered the hotel. It was constant even during sleeping hours. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, but the maintenance done in the room was terrible. The calk job looked like a 5 year old did it. The shower needs some grips on the bottom so you don't fall. I had to use a towel.

They overbooked so I lost my room because I booked third party !

Nothing stood out just an average hotel

Didn't like the fact they didn't have a pool or jacuzzi breakfast was disappointing we went down to breakfast at like 9:30 and when we tried to come back up our key didn't work matter of fact the people next to us he didn't work either we had to go down and get them to come up and open our rooms normally checkouts 12 there's is 11 and your key won't work after 8:00 in the morning super irritating will never stay here again that sucked and no microwave don't really have anything good to say about this place

Nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rim was nice.
