La Casa de Castara

The guest house is close to the beach and fully equiped. Shurlan was the perfect host. She is very friendly and really helpful. She even organized a hair dresser for me.

The property was okay

The location was very far from the city. We was told it was 30 minutes away when in fact it was an hour and 45 minutes. The drive to the location was very scary. Their was landslides and very dangerous terrain. Once at the property the electricity was gone, we were left in darkness, no WiFI connection we was actually cut off from the world with no communication to our family to let them know what was happening to us. it rained a lot and we was lock-in because off numerous landslides the roads was closed. On top off all this the owner off the building was very nasty to us, after their was a misunderstanding about the payment off the property. The care taker was trying to reason with the owner and he was even . We told him that we couldn’t find the place and that we did not arrived at the property until the early morning off the 28th, even the care taker was telling him, what time we arrived because she had to send her husband to locate us. but he the owner did not hear us at all demanding we paying him in full and in American currency and that we leave his premises. We could not leave as he said because the road was blocked nothing coming in or going out. We paid him $1,300 TTD to the care taker. He started to get very irritated over the shouting at us, when we tried explaining to him for us to work something out. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Stay Far away from this property you will eventually regret it especially with the owner when things don’t go his way you see the devil off his other side. please STAY AWAY

Very nice and cozy spaceful apartment with well equipped kitchen, suitable for families. Perfect cleanliness. Breathtaking locality, the beach is only few steps away, the supermarket is on the way to the beach. The nature around is amazing and there is a lot of places to go and activities to perform. The owner with her wife took care of us, they are very pleasant people.
