Diamond Gem Residence

This is more of a self contained apartment than a hotel, and the lack of any signage outside made the arrival a little difficult - fortunately a nearby resident confirmed the building and managed to shout the owner out! However it offered a great value stay in a nice location and I would consider staying again. The owner was very friendly, providing a phone number to ask any question or to get help during the visit. The room had a good sized bed, kitchen area complete with plates and cutlery etc, high table and functional bathroom. Annoyingly there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom but there was a bar of soap on the sink. It was a bit of a small area but clean enough. The air conditioning worked really well and being on a quiet side street meant sleep quality was good. The TV was a little basic, the lighting rather ‘harsh’ and the WiFi practically unusable. But saying all that, it was homely and if you were wanting to use the kitchen facilities then it’d work well. I liked the location - there’s a few restaurants close by, a nice harbour area a short walk away, plus a large and well stocked supermarket opposite. As a base outside of the main town it was good and one of the reasons I’d consider staying again.

Nous avons pu très bien nous reposer pendant notre séjour. 3. Les équipements. Il y a ce qu’il faut: kitchenette, micro-onde, plaques chauffantes, frigo, serviettes 4. Netflix en bonus. 5. Places de parking réservé pour les clients. Sans oublier l’accueil de Jules.

That I could not stay longer

Located in Cole Bay area. A short walk to the local supermarket Carrefour Market. Transport on Union Road was very handy as local buses (vans) passed very frequently. The property felt like a home away from home. This Airbnb style property was easy to find, clean and tidy. A nice touch was having the air conditioning running on check in. A cool place to relax and unwind after travel. The host showed you around the property and took the time to explain things and gave tips of local places to visit and to eat at.

Once at the property it was hard to find where to check in and how to gain access. That is one thing on the island there is a lack of signage and not just for this property. Managed to track down how to contact owner via the booking.com site and able to call via WhatsApp as not everyone can call on their cell but had data like I did.

A very good option due to price, location, and amenities. Owner is very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
