Tayrona Cachaco River Ecohostal

The room itself was very nice, clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. They also had a mini bar which was nice! The family on site were very friendly and welcoming, and showed us around at the start.. as far as I’m aware we didn’t come into contact with any actual employee staff while staying and so there was a serious lack of communication

A beautiful place with a lot of potential, however it was fully a building site at the time. We were hoping for a quiet stay however throughout the day there was drilling, and trees being sawed for building materials. There was no “24 service desk” as advertised, and we didn’t have an official check in or out.. when we tried to check out we had to ask a builder to call the owners and we still haven’t been able to arrange payment(despite really trying!) when we arrived we were told there was no meals being served and that we had to walk to the nearby village, however later it appeared that they did actually serve food. The wifi was limited. The pool hadn’t been cleaned and there was nowhere to sit by it(not necessary but a suggestion for improvement!) Overall it was a nice place with a lot of potential but spoiled a little by the building noise and lack of communication from the owner/some things not as advertised!

Nos alojamos dos noches en Cachaco River y es un lugar excelente para quedarse. Es muy cerca del Parque Tayrona y otros atractivos turísticos de la zona. Transportarse es muy fácil debido a que queda al lado de la carretera en donde uno puede tener buses, moto, taxi y demás. La familia anfitriona es muy agradable, servicial y colaboradora. Cobran un precio justo para lo que se obtiene, nunca se aprovecharon ni cobraron de más y siempre estuvieron dispuestos a brindar su ayuda, su buena actitud y una sonrisa para nosotros. No conocíamos nada y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Además de las asombrosas habitaciones, la propiedad tiene un río espectacular del cual uno puede disfrutar y los animales (mascotas) de ahí son adorables ❤️. Sin lugar a duda recomendaríamos y nos quedaríamos en este mismo lugar siempre que volvamos a la zona. En resumen, la propiedad es excelente, habitaciones impecables, río privado fantástico, animales amorosos y una familia (Odair, Natalia, las niñas y el abuelo) que lo hacen sentir a uno como en un hogar. 10/10.
