Víðines Guesthouse

Place was quiet, clean, peaceful and away from the city crowds. Highly recommended for anyone interested in just peace and quiet. The views are priceless.

Clean and easy check in

Great place for travelers on their way to or from Reykjavik! Lovely area on the bay with stellar sunrises and sunsets, with a view of the mountains.

Room was not cleaned before our check-in, we found wet towels in the bed. This was the second place we stayed at and the water had a weird smell. Only book if you plan on being out the whole day. It was far from anything including food.

It's was clean , peaceful, in a very nice location, it was very big and spacious , very affordable would recommend to stay here . The downside is there are weird statues in the building , one of which we destroyed to help free the owner and people staying in the guesthouse by not having a false god and cursed item in their home . The owner was a little bit upset but very forgiving and understanding at the same time . We enjoyed our time.

Despite the scruffy exterior and location close to the city dump, the interior was very well maintained, clean and sleepable. The area outside the building did not smell either (only the drive to/from the building) Good as a jumping off point near Reykjavik if you want to go do the golden circle as you are already in the outskirts of town.
