Pinc Lady Mansion

No on site food but the owner can point you in the right direction. Was cold at night until I found the little plug in heater (but I am cold generally). Room was cute and cozy. No fireplace; that would have been amazing! Very nice and helpful staff and really good people.

Great place! Super clean, comfortable, and quiet. Don't be deterred by the shared bathrooms. I was there for three nights and it was never an issue.

This was probably the most interesting place I stayed in a while. After we booked the room, we learned that the mansion does not have private bathrooms. This gave us pause, but after talking to the manager we decided to give it a chance. The mansion was impressive. It was well restored and in great condition. It felt like staying in a museum. We stayed in the sunrise room, which was large and had a great view of the other famous mansion across the street. There were blinds, but the room could use curtains: the sun woke us up at 6 AM. The bed was comfortable. Other furniture was pretty but impractical (bed stand with lamp on one side, bench with orchid, tiny table, sofa under tv, purple bulbs in the lamp). The bathroom situation was manageable, but not great. Shared bathroom was very clean, but you still needed to bring your towels and toiletries from the room. The host was very responsive via text messages. The on-site housekeeper let us in and showed around. There was a self service continental breakfast (instant oatmeal, bagels, jam). Tea kettle and a coffee maker were available. It was a fun experience for one night, but I probably won’t book it for longer stays.

Great place to stay! Very clean, comfortable and very welcoming. While checking in we had a great conversation with the care taker who is very knowledgeable. The history on the house is fascinating. The design of this house is beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here.
