What a beautiful property and place to stay! We chose the turret room with the private bathrom, which were delightful, clean, comfortable with sweet details. We are very much looking forward to any future excuse to stay to enjoy the future opening of the bubble room and live music.

The Pinc Lady is charming and lovely. We were met by Jacquline who gave us a tour of the house and told us it’s history. We walked to the harbor and enjoyed the sunset. There are one or two options to have a private bathroom but we shared one with other guests. It wasn’t a problem, though, as bathrobes are provided and we never had to wait or hurry to use the full bath or half bath. It was a wonderful experience and I want to go back when the restaurant and other plans are in place.

"Unique moment in time!"

10.0

When leaving a review, I like to take into consideration what I hold valuable. I value unique lodging versus typical hotel motel with such a white pallet and magazine feel. The Pinc lady mansion is worth a visit, it’s extraordinary. Victorian era built mansion from 1889. It’s in the heart of Eureka, California. I had the opportunity to stay in the room which faces the Carlson mansion, and basic terms the inspiration for Walt Disney‘s haunted mansion. The lodging was in walking distance of multiple dining and bar options, near the water and public transportation was available to seek more adventures further than one wanting to walk. We booked this lodging last moment, within less than two hours of arrival. Jacqueline greeted us at check-in at 4 PM and even offered us a historic tour of the beautiful mansion. We were offered views of the living quarters available, the dining room, the kitchen and she shared about the Carlson mansion “Ingomar Club” across the street too. Currently the backyard was under renovations, but we sneaked a peek through the fence and once it’s completed, it will be breathtakingly beautiful for any scheduled events at this location. Our lodging included parking spot out front of the mansion, and it was reasonably priced. I would book this location again or I would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Eureka, California or just passing through.

"The Pinc Lady rocks!"

10.0

Our room was super clean, super cozy and had great views! Shared bathrooms are just something you expect and as long as everyone is considerate of others is not an issue at all. I was disappointed we didn't get to meet and visit with the owner, but I'm sure she is very busy, so it's understandable. This is a beautiful home and we will return. Looking forward to making this our home away from home.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating, as well has an explanation to the history of the property. The building is beautiful and can’t wait for it to become a Bed and Breakfast. Everything has been well maintained and it allows you to emerge into that time period.

We did not have a great time at this location. I would not stay there again. According to the online description, we had to be there between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. We arrived at 4:30 p.m. and were quickly shown around the bottom-story rooms. I thought we could go back and check them out, but we found out that we weren't allowed back into the rooms unless we reserved the entire house. The online reservation didn't mention sharing a bathroom, which was located at the end of the hall from our room. Although I was excited to use the old bathtub, the hot water came out very slowly, taking 20 minutes just to fill the base of the tub. The shower also had a weak water flow. The thin walls made it easy to hear the neighbor snoring all night, and we were also disturbed by other guests arriving late, making a lot of noise. The rooms were hot and could have used a fan and a noise maker to improve the stay. The lack of these amenities was disappointing. If I had known all of this beforehand, I would have chosen a different place to stay.
