Aberfoyle Inn

Location was fine. We left the hotel before 8 so didn't have breakfast. Rather disappointed that the hotel was unable to provide a continental breakfast for our slightly early departure

No towel or bathmat in the bathroom!!! The shower took 6 minutes to heat up!! The two towels in the bedroom were grey and thin, one too small to be a bath towel. No kettle in the bedroom; we had to go and beg for one, there being none available on our first request. Sadly, I would never stay there again

Bathroom window stuck in open position, and no heating in bathroom. All rooms were in need of renovation and redecorating. It needs some TLC.

Room was small and in poor condition. Bedding was extremely crumpled and was it clean? Stale towels and cramped bathroom.

Friendly, helpful staff that made us feel welcome, and looked after us. Clean and cosy room, central location.

Bar area was functional, and not very atmospheric, food choices were limited. The staff friendliness and helpfulness was outstanding, and more than made up for the lack of atmosphere.

Wet towels folded on bed!No cups,dirty towels,very noisy,no proper sheets on bed,very narrow and steep stairs to room,no hanging facilities in shower for towels/tolietries.
