Wonderful! Clean and modern design, very quiet and friendly

The location was perfect directly across from the main catedral. Enough can’t be said about location. Upon arrival, we had to jump out of our rental car to ask where to park as the hotel is on a busy road without street parking nor loading zone. An attendant quickly escorted us to a cordoned off area to park temporarily while we checked in. They then parked the car for us at an undisclosed location. We had just come from San Miguel de Allende where we were met with all smiles, and it was quickly apparent that the energy was different here. We stayed two nights and the first night, I noticed that the pillows/bed/bedding (wasn’t sure what it was) didn’t smell clean so I did not sleep well. The next morning, I asked for new bedding and my request was not well-received. The second night seemed better but it still smelled a bit. Other than that, the rest of the room was clean but had maintenance items like loose bathroom hardware and broken trash can exposing sharp edges. The ceilings were double height which felt grand. Our bedroom window faced the interior atrium and we could hear if someone was talking but it didn’t happen much thankfully. The rooftop terrace was the highlight. The views were stunning! Staff was very friendly. Included was a generous made-to-order breakfast. It was a little chilly but they had blankets and heaters. All in all, it fell flat of my expectations for the price and for being revered as one of the few luxury hotels in the city.

This hotel can be called an industry benchmark. Every staff member is so friendly. When we checked in it was very quick. The pet fee is very low and we can take pets to the rooftop. While we were waiting for our free welcome drinks, the waiter offered our pup some water. While we were enjoying the free breakfast, the kitchen also prepared free eggs or chicken breasts for the puppies. Breakfast was also delicious. When we asked about nearby locations, the doormen and front desk were very friendly and helped us plan our route. Very nice hotel, we will definitely come back again. The location is also very convenient.

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel - all the details are perfect. Staff were welcoming, and above and beyond accommodating. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
