Tritoni Studios Valletta

A beautiful apartment in the heart of Valletta. Spacious, well equipped and everything is nice and clean. Access was easy and the owner was there on arrival to show us the apartment.

My invoice showed I had already paid the £1 environment fee. After checking out we were asked if we’d left it. We ended up paying it again but sadly quibbling over £1 turned a 10/10 stay into a 7/10.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was excellent, close to everything but still very quiet at night. I felt completely safe walking around after dark. The apartment had a well-equipped mini-kitchen that came in handy, the room was clean, and having internet included was a big plus. If you're looking for a relaxing, secure place to stay, I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, this stay was a disappointment. The space was way too small for two people. One of the pillows appeared to have mould, which is unacceptable. The minibar door kept scraping against the furniture, making it hard to close.

Obiekt zlokalizowany w super lokalizacji. Bardzo blisko do przystanku autobusowego i centrum Valetty, więc można wszędzie dotrzeć pieszo. Super obsługa obiektu- mieliśmy problem ze światłem, ale dostaliśmy numer kontaktowy i od razu wiedzieliśmy co mamy zrobić. Dodatkowo dostaliśmy świeże ręczniki po wysłaniu prośby na booking.

Szkoda, że ręczniki nie są wymieniane codziennie albo chociaż co dwa dni. Ale rozumiem, że to kwestia indywidualna i komuś może to nie przeszkadzać.

The only positive thing was the location, as the hotel was only about 10 minutes away from the city center. Overall, we unfortunately would not recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with this hotel. The room did not look like the pictures online at all. It was dirty, and the room was not cleaned automatically during our stay. The towels were also not changed until we contacted the hotel ourselves. In addition, the toilet flush was not working properly. There was mold everywhere on the walls and even on the ceiling, which was very unpleasant and unhygienic. The room was also far too small for two people.

Avoid this place at all costs. Our stay at these serviced apartments in Malta was an absolute disaster from start to finish, and what makes it even worse is that management has completely ignored our formal complaint for over a month. The problems began immediately. The lift regularly failed to open on our floor, which was especially frustrating while carrying heavy luggage. There were constant building works next door, meaning relentless noise disruption throughout the stay. The apartment itself felt poorly maintained and unsafe. The balcony door would not lock properly, creating a serious security concern. Staff responded by offering us access to another room to store our belongings securely, but this did nothing to resolve the fact that our own apartment could not be properly secured. While using the shower in that alternative room, brown water came pouring out, while water also leaked over the toilet from a tank in the ceiling above. On top of that, the shower in our own apartment flooded on the morning of departure due to blocked drainage. The overall condition and hygiene standards were shocking. To make matters worse, a maintenance worker entered our apartment without warning on the morning we were leaving, resulting in one of us being seen naked. This was a serious invasion of privacy and utterly unprofessional. The main entrance security system also appeared unreliable, with access codes not resetting properly after use, making it far too easy for strangers to gain entry to the building. We raised all of these issues formally and professionally and requested compensation. Over a month later, we have still received no response whatsoever. The complete lack of accountability says everything. This accommodation failed on cleanliness, maintenance, security, privacy, and customer service. I would strongly recommend that nobody stays here unless they are happy to risk an uncomfortable, stressful, and potentially unsafe experience.

Good location within walking distance of Valletta attractions

The unit is tiny with not much space for luggage. On the first night there was a wind blowing and the noise of the wind was transmitted down a duct and through a large gap in the wall lining above the ensuite room. The noise of the wind was deafening! An electric jug was provided but it had a European two pin round plug which couldn't be used with the three pin square English-type power outlets. No adaptor was provided. The double bed is pushed into a corner which makes it difficult for the person sleeping agains the wall to get in and out of bed - especially in the middle of the night.
