Westpunt Beach Apartments

The view from our terrace was breathtaking. That’s the end of it.

Where should I start. You might be forgiven to think The property was built with no building codes in mind. It’s located on a hillside. The drive from the main road was on an unpaved ungraded dirt road (you may need a farm tractor not a car to reach the property). Once you get there you park your car on a very steep and narrow driveway (my 1.2L Toyota Agya engine struggled). Once in the apartment, Every step you make you should be careful not to hurt yourself. The kitchen is a big step down from the bedroom with no warning strips on the white tiles (Almost broke my ankle thinking it’s a flat floor). The TV is hanging on the wall next to the entrance of the bathroom (I hit my head twice in the dark going in and out of the bathroom). The towel hanger in the bathroom is placed on the wall right in front of the toilet, and at the toilet level (banged my head into it and injured my scalp getting up the toilet). The bedroom had no cross ventilation capability. You must use the noisy old AC unit to cool the space instead of taking advantage of the cool evening breeze outside.

The patio and the view was amazing. Nice snorkeling and great restaurants walking distance. Pool and laundry available with grill and large common area available to use. Our hostess Julia was amazing Great place to stay

The view is great

Access road is unpaved, access rather uneasy. No clear parking section. No sign for reception or assistance. Access to pool?? no clue as to how to get there. Kitchen lacks basic utensils - just one lonely pan for cooking, 1 fork for eating, plastic wine cups, and more inconvenient lack of just basics. Bathroom: we had to declogg the toilet serveral times. Shower was leaking at various points. Bedroom: AC remote wasn’t working. Bedside lamp (only one side) did not fit the electrical connection. No safe for valuables.

Awesome place, quiet, in the nature. The lady in charge of the rooms was so helpful, she even helped us find a night taxi. Recommend!
