Vivanta Meghalaya Shillong

It was a great experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were polite and helpful at all times and the service provided was truly the highlight of our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Vivanta Meghalaya. The front desk staff was most kind and helpful. Our chauffeur was courteous and warm. We had several good meals at Mynt, including the complimentary breakfast, of which special mention must be made of the parathas. We found the staff throughout uniformly attentive. The rooms had everything one could desire.

Everything was perfect.

The room was good, the behaviour of the staff concerned were well behaved and good, the cleanliness of the room was good, the food was good, the security was good. Overall the experience was excellent.

Really satisfied with breakfast. Lots of varieties, but non veg, there's little options to choose. Great location. Will stay again.

Ok.

We got off to a Rocky start when we arrived. We had booked 4 rooms, but got push-back from reception at every point - no welcome drink after an 8 hour cross country journey ( which we later learned was customary), our request for rooms on the same floor denied (and then acceded), slow, uncooperative service at reception which we do not expect at a Taj property. That was disappointing. Things did improve later. I realize this is a new property, but the staff at reception definitely need more training.

Location, hospitality and comfort is 10/10
