Hotel Opus Bronx

The bathroom was up-to-date. No clothes hangers, tv was spotty, towels were too small. The noise was the worst. Loud talking at all times of the night.

This location had alot of negative reviews however the only complaint that I have is there was no microwave in the room, they have the microwave OUTSIDE in the corner on the ground floor. They also only have usable outlets in the bathroom. Other than that the room was clean and spacious, the TV was large and the mirrors were a great addition to the room.

We rented this room for two nights. We discovered on check-in that this property rents "by the hour" with varying rates for weekdays/weekends. We had been in our room for less than an hour and received a phone call telling us it was time to check out. He had dialed the wrong room and apologized, but you should imagine how unsettling that was. The room was clean, but there were two cigarette holes in the sheets. We were not comfortable there and left after the first night. This is NOT what we have come to expect from Travelocity properties. A hotel whose business is by the hour. It was a flashing panel inside the "lobby." We are very unhappy.

Hotel Opus in the Bronx has a nice upfront and seems clean. The staff or more precisely, the lady at the front desk was very lazy, always napping and didn’t welcome me. I was in room 103 with nonstop noise and people talking out loud waking me up from my sleep. There is no microwave in the room and no remote control for the TV. I asked the lady at the front desk and she never gave me the remote for the TV. I spent 2 miserable nights there. Plus, they didn’t make my bed nor refresh the room. Until I left, I couldn’t tell if there was an ice machine. No welcome note or nothing. I stayed 2 nights because the location was very convenient. Most things that I needed were at walking distance. I will definitely not recommend this hotel.

Location was good for me. Around the hotel very dirty; lots of noise; no remote control for the TV; no microwave and the WiFi is a joke. I spent 2 nights with no TV. No coffee or tea in the room. Not recommended!

It was ok just that there were flies in the room, and I asked for a non smoking room but was given a smoking room. And the front desk girl looked annoyed to deal with me, the same as last time. She clearly doesn’t like her job.

I asked for a non smoking room. I came in the room and the first thing I noticed was smoking in that room, I looked at the smoke detector and it was off. The room was nice but I saw there was 3 flies in the room. I could not get the flies out. Front desk lady was the same one I dealt with last time who did not send room service to clean the room so I did not expect it this time either, she looked like she didn’t want to work there or deal with customers.

I did not like the overnight stay at all because there was a party in another room and they were shouting, screaming, and banging on doors. Couldn’t sleep the whole night. It was horrible. I will never go back because it was very scary.
