Marala Hotel

One of a kind property. It was a lovely room on the second floor with the hot-tub for two and the swing and dinette. The shower had great water pressure and monkeys would tap on the windows. The views were amazing. Lots of wildlife to watch all over the property. The food was fabulous. It is a short drive to many attractions and beaches. The pool was perfect.

Great views and friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Excelente hotel beautiful property

The experience was great. We decided to extend our stay an extra night. Tina was very helpful when there was a mix up with the booking (my fault) and got everything taken care of for us. When staying in the area, I would definitely recommend it. The property is beautiful and the views are great.

It was a spontaneous booking and worked out amazingly. When we arrived Tina (reception manager) was super kind and gave us early check in. Room was big with great view over the ocean, very nice pool, great food at the restaurant, super friendly personnel.

Amazing hotel!! Rooms were the best we had in CR. Incredible view of the ocean. My girlfriend did not want to leave the pool. Swim up bar was fun and the Monkey Mango Margarita was top notch. Emploees were great and always very helpful. Restaraunt was very good and convenient.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Tina who was very friendly, communicative, & helpful! We were celebrating our 20th anniversary & are so happy we stayed here 5 nights! We were given an upgrade to our room which was an amazing addition to our stay, we were on the second floor with a wrap around balcony with the most gorgeous plant views, white faced capuchin views and even a small peak of ocean views. The room was very clean, never even saw a bug of any kind inside the room. It was also very quiet, never heard other peoples voices or anything. Before entering the room, there is a cozy common room that has a couch with puzzle tables, a tv, a balcony to see the pool area, ocean view-perfect for watching the sunset and a long dining table if staying with friends or family would be a great area for hanging out. We ate the complimentary breakfast here a couple days & ate dinner each night of our stay. The food is absolutely delicious! It’s an Italian spin on Costa Rican food (which we had plenty of delicious Costa Rican dishes for our lunches around the different towns). The drinks were also delicious! All staff members were extremely friendly. We walked around the grounds a few nights & saw pizote’s (coati’s), macaws flying by, iguanas, leaf cutter ants, tropical kingbirds, boat billed flycatchers & of course white faced capuchins. We loved our stay!

A nice 1-nt surprise after a day of driving. So refreshing and beautiful. Kaitlyn took great care of us at both swim up bar and dinner, which was tasty! Tina was kind and fun to chat with at the front desk. 100% happy with the visit.

The place and view were amazing!!! Staff was a 10 Tina at the front desk went over and above to make our stay spectacular!! Bar tenders were awesome, best drinks in Costa Rica. Really can't say enough great things about this property. 10/10 in all categories.

Very nice hotel. Nice room with garden view. Good HVAC at the room. Very Nice and clean bathroom. Plenty of closet room. Great local breakfast. Very good attention by Tina at the recepción desk. She provided us información of places to visit. Very Nice pool with Great view to the ocen. Good spot close to comercial places.
