Marala Hotel

My stay at Marala Hotel in Costa Rica was very enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Thanks to Tina, we received a free upgrade, which made our experience even better. She was very friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Her great service and warm attitude made us feel welcome and relaxed. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Costa Rica.

Great place defined we coming back again

We chose this hotel for a one night stopover on our journey back from Osa to San Jose. We stayed in room 10 which is the top floor, it’s a massive well appointed room with huge terrace looking out to the sea - complete with jacuzzi bath. There was a small issue as we’d booked through Hotels.com and was supposed to come with bottle of wine, but this had not transferred over to the hotel’s booking system. Big thanks to Tina and Jeff for sorting it out so we could enjoy some fizz in the tub! We ate at the Two Parrots restaurant and had a lovely meal there too. In all a very pleasant last night in Costa Rica.

Wonderful Stay – Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Service The hotel is beautiful with stunning views and nice, comfortable rooms. The staff were fantastic—very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. It’s conveniently located just 5 minutes from the beach and about 1.5 hours from San José airport. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again in the future.

We arrived at the hotel as part of our honeymoon. The owner, Tina, upgraded us to the presidential suite, and decorated our room with balloons, flowers and chocolates. It really made us feel the honeymoon experience, and we were so exited by that gesture. We highly recommend to stay in Marala.

Marala Hotel is an amazing place, with excellent services, amazing staff, and delicious food. Everything was great, it is the perfect place to get relaxed and be full of energy. My wife and I stayed the weekend, and from that moment on, Marala hotel became our special place. We hope to visit this hotel again soon.

Marala Hotel was incredible! The food was delicious, and everyone there was so friendly. I felt so welcomed by Aamel, Jeff, Tina, and the entire staff. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. It was so relaxing there, it truly felt like paradise. I hope to visit soon! Marala Hotel is so wonderful! I stayed there with a group of college friends for spring break and had an amazing time. The amazing owner Aamel Segal was so accommodating and kind, the staff was so professional and attentive, and the receptionist Tina helped us plan several fun excursions (monkey tours, national park tour, arrange transportation, etc.) which made our time there smooth and full of memorable experiences. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool and restaurant are beautiful, and the kitchen in the bungalow was a huge bonus! Highly recommend staying here, I will be back!

What a relaxing amazing place! You can see and hear the ocean, while still in some tree cover so you can see birds, monkeys, and all kinds of wildlife. The staff is very friendly and helpful and give the place their amazing vibe. The restraunt, bar, and pool are perfect! We will be back.

We had 2 days to spare on our trip to Costa Rica and decided to relax in a hotel by the sea. We were very happy with Marala Hotel, the whole stay was very comfortable. When we got to the hotel, we even got a free upgrade to an ocean view room thanks to Tina at the reception. There’s a lovely pool with poolside bars at the location where you can easily spend a whole afternoon. The garden is also beautiful with gigantic mango trees among other tropical plants. The food in the 2 parrots restaurant was also top-notch. The staff is very accommodating and welcoming. Contrary to many other hotels we stayed at in Costa Rica where everyone seems to stick rigidly to rules, the staff at Marala are more understanding and go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Can very much recommend!!
