The energy in Hosteria Lago del Toro is supplied by generators which produce no noise and require no fossil fuels, only the wind and sun. Therefore, energy is available from 5:00 to 10:00 hs and from 19:00 to 24:00 hs. Overnight emergency equipment is available. LOCAL TAX LAW Based on local tax laws, Chilean citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Chili) must pay an additional fee of 19%. Please note that for tax exemption foreign travelers must pay in US dollars and have to present the migration card they are given when they arrive to the country. Foreign business travelers, who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 19% regardless of the length of their stay in Chili. La situació és perfecta, amb unes vistes impressionants sobre les muntanyes. El personal és molt amable i disponible, disposat a ajudar en tot en qualsevol moment. L'habitació és petita però acollidora, el bany funciona perfectament i el servei de neteja és perfecte.

La ubicación es fantástica; el entorno bucólico y superagradable, cerca del límite del parque Torres del Paine. Tomar un café viendo el macizo del Paine a través de la gran cristalera de la zona principal, es inolvidable. Gran amabilidad del personal. Ambiente tranquilo, cuasi-familiar.... Nuestra habitación doble de cama grande era muy amplia. Desayuno correcto. Precio correcto en relación al exagerado nivel de precios existente en la zona. En general, regresaría a este establecimiento

El colchón de la cama es claramente mejorable y tal vez el baño requeriría alguna mejora igualmente. Un aspecto que futuros viajeros tienen que conocer de antemano es que en el hotel no sirven cenas. Cuando estuvimos en Villa Serrano solo daban cenas en 2 sitios. Uno es el hotel Río Serrano que está justo enfrente y otro es en el restaurante Pampa Lodge. El primero siempre estuvo lleno y el segundo sí que tenía sitio pero ojo en temporada alta (reservar!). A considerar que cenar aquí es caro. Bueno, todo es muy caro en Torres del Paine. Para nosotros no fue un problema pero hay que considerar que esta Hostería se encuentra como a 54 kilómetros (1h40m) del punto de arranque del famoso trekking a la laguna base de Torres del Paine

Tolle Lage am Eingang des Nationalparks.

Heftig teuer für die Qualität der Unterkunft. Man nutzt leider aus, dass es kaum Unterkünfte gibt. Gleiche Qualität bekommt man sonst in Argentinien für 50% weniger.

"Cozy and warm welcoming stay"

Lovely little place. Very cozy. Rooms were warm! Lovely lovely staff. Breakfast was great.

Toilet was very slightly old. Would have loved a kettle in the room or some hooks! A shame that the weather was slightly dreadful for our one night stay there otherwise would have enjoyed a nice little gander in the morning.

"Humbly perfect"

The location, the staff and the breakfast where great. It’s a simple place but that’s what makes it special. It fits the surroundings perfectly. The music in the common area, the view and the hospitality is just amazing. We stayed here 4 nights and loved every bit of it!
