Hostal Timara

I loved this stay! Super centric location and it has a very homey feel and comfortable especially for longer stays. I accidentally left an object of venue when we left Baños and the host was kind enough to send it to me where I was staying in Cuenca. The staff goes above and beyond and there is also a Japanese restaurant at the top of the establishment that is great for late night dinner. All in all one of my favorite stays in Ecuador!

Great hostel, host was so helpful and friendly. We ended up staying for additional nights. We used the laundry service and rented bikes also. Really lovely place to stay with a great location

The room and the bathroom were good. The hotel is very well located and the staff is really nice! The kitchen is also very well equipped

The shower’s temperature was hard to regulate and there was not a lot of storage in the room.

The location is excellent, walking distance to town, bus station and loads of beautiful sights/activities. Alex and his family are so welcoming and friendly, made us feel right at home. The rooms and bathrooms are super clean and spacious. The kitchen and communal area have everything you need, clean and cosy! The garden is also beautiful.

Lovely family owned hostel, awesome location in Baños, hot showers, communal kitchen with water available, comfortable bed. Overall good value for money.

No hand soap in the communal bathrooms, such an easy fix which would make a big difference!
