Lovely little cottage

Good location for getting to more interesting places, though a little noisy (as on a busy road) and the immediate area wasn't so nice - not a problem really as we were out and about so it was a convenient base. Cottage was very comfortable, warm, clean,and had all we needed.

Only one bin so not easy to recycle.

Clean and tidy and good value for money

The property is on a busy main road, so the parking is on the road, which i found the only downside

Lovely, clean cosy cottage. So many extras like washing up liquid, bin bags, tea, sugar etc. and plenty in the cabinets to cook with. Location is fine and close to nearby saltburn and Whitby was also a 25 minute drive away. Perfect. Just what I needed.

The bed was slightly harder than I like. But that's more personal preference than there been anything wrong with it.

1 toilet roll for 2 people for 4 days back garden needs attention to paint etc back door opens now and again new lock needed noise from trains at back of cottage vert busy main road location double bed so if your over 6foot feet hang over edge

A beautiful home and just a short drive from Saltburn. Lots of space and enjoyed the view of the horses in the field opposite

I didn't click from the name that the cottage is on the back of a railway line, but it was more of a novelty than an issue.

Toilet was downstairs Oven needs updating

The frying pan was very poor and in very poor condition. A good, non stick frying pan in good condition would have been appreciated. There was no salt and pepper.

lovely cottage nice and clean. Fantastic shower and all of the necessary appliances provided. Comfortable and homely.

Only slight downfall was the parking situation. Although there was no problem obtaining a parking space, it was sometimes challenging trying to get into the car safetly due to amount of traffic and also the speed of the traffic.
