Casa Flor de Vida

Perfect location a warm and friendly feeling we felt at home

I chose the Casa Flor de Vida for the garden and quiet location.

There was a coffee machine but no fresh coffee was available. Would be a nice touch to have a complimentary jar of fresh Chiapas coffee

Clean room and bathroom, friendly host. Location is great, you can easily walk to the city center and it's just two blocks away from the pedestrian precinct. Parking is on the street but we didn't have a problem finding a spot in front of the house with our rental car. They have a nice kitchen to cook your own meals. The kitchen is well maintained and clean. There's also small garden where you can hang out and relax. It's cold in San Cristobal but there were enough blankets in the room to keep us warm. :) Would definitely stay there again.

I didn't appreciate the obstrusive smell of the "air refresher" in the bath room which smelled like wet paint. But there's an easy fix for that: simply close the bathroom door.

Great place to explore San Cristobal, helpful friendly hosts (open to help you with questions or hanging out there before our nightbus), lovely terrace and usable kitchen.

Rooms a bit cold but under blankets and wearing a hoodie no problem

My host is super nice. My flight has been seriously delayed. I was very distracted and forgot to write to her that I would be late. She was very nice and warm when I arrived at the hotel.

We didn't meet the host. Bathroom was all wet after shower and was not good ventilated.
