Tronco Tambopata Adventure

Alles, werkelijk alles. De mensen zijn vriendelijk, gastvrij en hebben een hart voor de natuur en de dieren. Het eten is er heerlijk en vers elke dag, geserveerd op vaste momenten, waardoor je ook de andere gasten leert kennen. De lodge is zo mooi en verzorgd en de bungalows zijn comfortabel, uitgerust met muggennetten aan de zijkanten van de lodge en boven het bed, en een hangmat voor de deur. De lodges zijn open, dus je hoort alle geluiden (dieren en soms ook je buren), maar voor ons was dit een aangename ervaring. Met wat geluk krijg je bezoek in de lodge van apen en bijzondere vogels, en zelfs een luiaard. 🦥 Echt een fantastische ervaring! Van harte dank aan iedereen in de lodge!

Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis !! Die kleinen Bungalows sind recht gemütlich und über dem Bett befindet sich ein richtig gutes Moskitonetz !! Die Anlage ist insgesam in einem sehr guten Zustand !! Auf dem Gelände befindet sich eine Hängebrücke die jederzeit zugänglich ist !!

Lo staff è meraviglioso, sempre pronto ad aiutarti. Le guide delle escursioni sono preparate e molto accoglienti. Il posto ha tutte le comodità pur essendo immerso nella foresta amazzonica. Il pappagallo Pepe, mascotte del lodge, dona un tocco di simpatia e originalità.

È stato tutto perfetto a parte che hanno rifatto la camera solo il primo giorno. Per noi non è stato un grande problema comunque.

The guides for the tours were very knowledgeable. The food was great and plentiful. The people were kind and hospitable.

Asked for and extra fan for the room and were told no..it was a triple room with one fan and it was like an oven

We had a wonderful experience. The lodge is a family business, we had the opportunity to meet Marcos, Yure, Ines, Jorge, Jersey, Darley … the little monkey Macaco and the funny parrot Pepe. The ambiance is very cozy. The food is also very good, they are doing a special effort to show all the Peruvian specialties. All the tours where right on time and as described in the brochure. In case of changes of plans, the manager will quickly find a solution according to your needs. This address is highly recommended 😀

The staff at Tronco are absolutely exceptional. My girlfriend got ill just before we arrived, and everyone at Tronco was so accommodating, caring and incredibly understanding, despite us having to make multiple last minute changes to our stay and activities. They cooked special food to help with her illness, and also assisted with medical attention. Nothing was too much to ask. The accommodation is lovely, the location is beautiful and peaceful, the food is excellent and the activities Tronco offer are fantastic. We only wish we could have done all of them! Everything is 10/10 and we would highly recommend staying with them for your visit to the Amazon. Thank you again everyone at Tronco.

I had a lovely stay with these guys. Helpful staff, not to be taken for granted. And as a solo traveller (which in Puerto Maldonado doesn't seem very common), its a nice balance between quiet time and having a few people to chat to and its not completely in the middle of nowhere, but has a lovely garden and nice birds around (and a canopy walk). Breakfast is an omelette, juice, fried banana (nice) and bread/jam. Simple but does the job, and $10usd which isnt bad (compared to other places). I would go back

Cold/Not hot showers (as in most guest houses here - yes the air is warm, but just heads up). No options around for food (expect other guest houses) for lunch/dinner, so be prepared for making other plans or eating there most days.

The service was great, we felt very welcome! Very special atmosphere surrounded by nature.
