Fundamentally this should be a nice apartment, despite the tiny twin room. Living area and kitchen were nice and the main bedroom and the bathroom were both spacious. The main problem was that the toilet flush broke the first time it was used: the button that needed to be pressed got stuck and wouldn’t come back out. So the cistern wouldn’t refill and the toilet couldn’t be flushed. I dialled the contact number and it went to answer phone. I dialled the emergency contact mobile number and that had been diverted back to the landline. I emailed but didn’t get a response until the following day. So our entire 14 hour stay was without a working toilet. Additionally, the apartment stank of cigarette smoke, triggering my asthma. Disappointing.

It was spacious and had everything you needed.

Shower was freezing would not run hot, no lift so had to climb 4 flights of stairs.

I like the environment, it was very serene and well kept

Shower is abysmal - zero pressure and even at full heat wasn’t even warm. Bathroom as a whole is very poor.

Great location for our needs. Nice and quiet.

Hot water was Luke warm

Spacious and clean apartment, with everything you need for a short break.

The cushions for one of the sofas were on the floor when we arrived, probably not replaced following cleaning. Carpet in main entrance is looking a bit tired.

Attended a wedding which was in Carr bank park, was a stone throw away, so very handy. Also walked into town for breakfast (Wetherspoons) only about 10 minute walk.

Shower wasn't very hot but wasn't a major issue.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay to visit family nearby. It had everything we needed and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The free parking was brilliant. We will definitely return to this accommodation on our next visit.

Not much, the place could do with a little decoration refresh, walls could do with a re-paint and some of the furniture was a little tired and worn but nothing that would stop us staying again as it was very clean and comfortable.

Good location with public transport links and excellent cafe and shop very close by. Plenty of room to relax.
