Somehow this was a unique experience - but not a positive one. The only hotel manager during our entire Columbia vacation who was not attentive, not solving (standard) problems. And there were plenty of problems... like no hot water in our bungalow, wrong information on check out times in booking.com etc. Also standard questions like on an airport shuttle were just ignored. Strange emails prior to our stay, asking us to guarantee our reservation by a bank transfer via a Columbian bank- although the reservation was guaranteed via booking.com anyways On the positive side : it is a great and quiet location in some minutes walking distance from the center and it offers great views over the lake and to the Piedra

We stayed this hotel and were very happy. We got “the suite” for a very reasonable price. Very clean, a lot of space, nice bathroom and a famous overview over the lake. People are very nice and helpful. About 10 minutes walking from the center, so very quiet. Wifi and the breakfast were also very good. The best way is to book directly : lamadriguera.hotel@gmail.com
