Diani Palm Resort

I had fully paid for a trip and cancelled way in advance. They have deducted my refund by 20% without notice and this is not indicated on their invoice, receipt or website. I do not trust this resort!

I don't understand all the positive reviews. The condition of the room is terrible and the attitude of the staff even worse. When we arrived, they only had one towel for two people. They said they couldn't dry because of the weather. But we're in a goddamn hotel, right? The TV was out of control. There was no fridge! The air conditioning was out of control. The attitude of the staff was terrible, the young lady who served us rolled her eyes annoyingly at our questions. Dorty and smelly. Overall just awful and definitely not recommended.

Our experience in this hotel was breathtaking, excellent customer service, kind and interactive staff clean and tidy facilities. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach. Fits all group setting, family getaway and staycation. The food was great! Shout out to Aisha who made our experience seamless for the four days.. highly recommend!

My recent experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. We made our reservation through Booking.com and even took the extra step of contacting the hotel in advance to confirm our booking, which they also confirmed. We had also requested an early check-in to freshen up before an important meeting, and this request was also confirmed. However, upon our arrival at the hotel, we were informed that our rooms were not available and would only be ready once the previous guests had checked out. We patiently decided to make the best of the situation, freshening up and having breakfast while waiting for our rooms. Before we left for our meeting, the manager confirmed that our rooms would be available shortly and, as a gesture of goodwill due to the inconvenience, they offered us complimentary breakfast or dinner and return transport to our meeting venue. To our dismay, when we later called the manager to reconfirm our booking, we were told that they had secured one room but were still working on the second one. This was puzzling, but we decided to return to the hotel to sort things out in person. Upon our return, we were informed that no rooms were available, but they would accommodate us at another location at their expense. This alternative location, known as Ndege House, was far from what we had anticipated. The ambience was unsatisfactory, with a room located at the top of a building, and the remote location posed transportation challenges. It was a far cry from the standards we had expected and had booked with the original hotel. This experience left us deeply dissatisfied and inconvenienced, with broken promises and a significant compromise on the quality of our stay. As such, I can only rate this hotel with 1 out of 5 stars for providing inadequate service, failing to honor their commitments, and significantly inconveniencing their guests.

I booked the hotel through booking .com,got confirmation message from the property.On the day of arrival ,i found no room reserved for us.The manager kept promising to find a place for us until it was late in the evening .Mind you, we checked in @9am😞.He later got us a room at Ndege House which was not pleasant to stay.This was very wrong and dissapointing to us

We loved our stay at Diani Palm Resort. Good food. Excellent ambience. Friendly and keen staff. The facility though not beach front its only a walking distance to the beach. I highly recommend their rooftop bar.
