InTown Suites Extended Stay Charlotte NC -East Independence

At half the price of the hotel next door, i was happy with the price. Not clean. Not clean at all. I put my shoes on to go from the bed to the bathroom! I frequently visit that part of charlotte, but will happily pay more for somewhere else next time.

Great hotel for the price, although I found it odd that a security guard was working the front desk from the outside After 11pm, which tells me alot about the neighborhood and/or their clientel. Also, unfortunately one of my three rooms smelled like cigarette smoke even though they were all non-smoking rooms. And finally, no breakast? :/ regardless for the price, which is what I'm all about, this was a fine stay

The room was not clean looking and the sheets on the bed were stained and the room smell like old socks. Was not comfortable there at all...

I really enjoyed staying at Sun City. It's a very nice place and you get a lot of amenities for such a low price.

It was nice that it had a stove, fridge and microwave. The small kitchen was a added bonus to the room. It was ordinary, but if you want a cheap stay then its worth the low price. I would stay here again. The only con was the room smelled like someone's cologne but luckily I had some febreze so it fixed that but overall it was a good stay.

After such a negative experience at the Sun Suites on E. Independence Blvd. in Charlotte, NC, I will never stay at another Sun Suites again. I attempted to check in shortly before 12pm and was denied because no room was ready. After coming back after 3 to 4 hours, a room was ready,but with no towels or wash cloths which I agreed to take only because my friend and I needed to get situated for an event to take place later on that day. After returning back to the hotel aroun 8pm, I still had to call downstairs to the front desk for towels at which point I was spoken to so rudely, I hung the phone up in disbelief. In an extremely rude tone, I was told I can come get the towels myself and if I had a problem I could feel free to check out.At this point, I had to go address the front desk attendent by the name of Shaughn and get towels myself instead of them being brought to me.A short time after returning to my room, the manager on duty,Jackie, called the room to basically imply that I had caused a problem for the staff by interrupting him helping other patrons and by "threatining to have him beat up". After speaking with Jackie, she assured me that she would be present in the office the following morning to personally handle my check out, but when I went to the office at 11am exactly, the manager had not arrived to work yet as told to me by the morning staff. I have never been so offended by a customer service employee in my life; and I use the words customer service loosely. I will make sure to inform any associates I have that if they are looking for courteous service, they need not to look at Sun Suites. I will stick to the Westin. They never dissappoint.

In the southern part of Charlotte - where the city is expanding to.....good location.

The price was great and the location was perfect for where I needed to be. The non-smoking room smelled like a smoker had been living there for years. The room was clean but well-worn. Wall were super thin and I could hear the neighbor's tv all night. I arrived late and the night guard checked me in very quickly. When I left the office was late being opened. I locked the key in the room, and called later to check-out. It worked for one night but I will pay a little more next time I am in town and stay somewhere else.

I stayed in this hotel and stepped on a syringe and they were rude about the whole situation the manager said and i quote well what do you want me to do about then i asked for a refund for the night that i left one night i mind you and i paid for a whole week and they said in no way shape or form would they do that it would have to be under the insurance claim i would be filing this is the worst hotel ever!

Staff was friendly and very helpful, room was very clean, the only problem I had was it seemed there was a lot of commotion(partying, etc.) from the other clientele every night, but we did stay there on a weekend. Other than that, everything else was fine and nobody bothered us.
