InTown Suites Extended Stay Charlotte NC -East Independence

I have seldom complained about a hotel - this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in... and we had 2 rooms for 2 nights - do i begin with the TV not working, or the toilet not working (they came 2 times to fix it and then I guess they gave up) - or the plaster in the other bathroom was falling and the shower was broken so when you took a shower part of the shower sprinkled the ceiling and the plaster would fall on you when you took a shower - there was also the bedspread that had a minimum of 50 cigarettes burns in it (we were in non-smoking rooms) - or we only had 3 towels and asked them for an extra towel - were told we couldn't come pick it up that housecleaning would deliver it - that as Sat. night and we checked out Mon. a.m.... and never got the towel - the security guards at the hotel were much more helpful than ANYONE at the front desk

It was extremely disappointing. Yes you get what you pay for but for I was afraid to use the blanket on the bed, the heater spelled like it was about to catch on fire and my god the bed...it was like sleeping on plywood! Don't get me started on the "tenants" that call this place home. I will never stay here again.

This is the second time I have stayed in the Sun Suites. I like the convenience and the fact that it is right off of Independence Blvd. with easy access to Charlotte. I like the layout of the room and the fact that it has a cute table, plus a full kitchen with amenities such as refrigerater, coffeemaker, stove, and microwave. However, it would be wise to bring your own food and coffee. It is a pleasant and convenient place to stay, especially if you are going to one of the many events available in Charlotte! :)

it sucked no cable no hot water and hasty

The carpet was dirty and the room smelled. When we checked in the told us we had a smoking room and no non-smoking rooms were avaiable. In the smoking room the carpet was dirty and it smelled. I had to get a candle to burn in the room to help keep the odor down. They should try to replace that nasty carpet in those rooms especially the smoking rooms. The bed mattress was horrible felt like a twin size bunk bed mattress. The vent that ran throught the room need to be changed we kept hearin the air passing through it all night long with the celing vent that was in the bathroom. This hotel isn't right to stay in. I recommend this hotel to those who are not worried about the clean part of a room. I will not stay here again. Next time I will plan ahead.

the place was clean and staff was extra friendly. I had no problems at all with checking in. Only thing was I believe they need new beds. Room I was in the bed seems to be flat and worn in middle, was hard to get out of.

The bed spreads were filthy and even the sheets still had hair all over them. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. The only redeeming quality of this room was that it had a stove and fridge in it and they were clean. The bathroom had 1 small bar of soap and no shampoo. There was a small coffee maker in the room but there was no coffee and even at that the coffee maker was filthy also. I did'nt expect the Ritz but even the smallest hotel / motel chains usually supply these amminities. As bad as this room was and it was bad the people who worked the front desk were very nice and very helpful.

Worst experience I have had at a motel. No cart, this is an extended stay motel. I had 12 days of clothes and work products and had to carry them myself. No ice machine, freezer broken, no alarm clock and no wake up service. Comode broke and they made me move at 9:30 pm, with no help nor cart. Rude and unconcerned about service.

Nice and clean! They let me check out at noon!!!
