very nice to stay at for price

I had some business to do in Matthews. This hotel was on my way from the airport, so I spent a night here. Everything worked for me.

Stayed because it was close to my job and looked decent on the outside but my room was half clean used my own towels bathroom shower head had tape around it but was squirting water everywhere told front desk just said oh sorry didn't switch my room sad that when I was checking out another guest was complaining about another room definitely wasn't a sunny day there my back was hurting from the bed felt like sleeping on the boxspring

I stayed there for 3 nights and the 2nd night I had a mouse over by the refrigerator when I was getting out of the shower. Then later that night I can here it scratching on the wall. Went to service desk and they called a maintenance guy that said basically "your out of luck" and they will get mice traps. The place was run down and the TVs are all fizzy and about to go out. I don't recommend this place and wouldn't stay there again

Sun Suites of Charlotte-Mathews - The room looked OK when we first walked in. There's a kitchen with a fridge & microwave but the fridge does not keep cold. WE WERE THERE A FULL WEEK AND THEY NEVER MADE THE BEDS. They collected room trash infrequently. The beds were a bit creaky but we were able to get a good night's sleep. Good shower though with real hot water. They do not have a restaurant or place to sit down outside th room. We were happy to be on our way at the end of the week.

I had problems and hotel.com as well making sure they received payment for stay. Front desk staff was not friendly. The room was very dated and had a pst problem.I checked out the room earlier and lost my $200.00 a day stay with them. Need a staff and property major over hall. Never stay at this place. It had a lot of foot traffic with drugs and stripers.

No hair dryer,no shampoo. Just a basic room. I have had better deals for the same price.

curtains nasty... bed old and uncomfortable....room smelled
