They did everything right: the owners Manu and Salvo have style, taste and sense of hospitality. The historic building in the city centre is tastefully restored with chic, unpretentious furnishings. The pool is small but just right. Loved our room. Outstanding breakfast. Loved everything about it. Well done!

Nothing. Only tiny recommendation to include liquid hair amenities. And perhaps consider blinds/curtains for the entrance to our room, to shield again the sun.

I have rarely visited a place so meticulously maintained and beautifully designed with such attention to detail. Our bathroom was spacious, the room even larger, with a stunning dome ceiling over five meters high. We enjoyed our own little terrace where my wife practiced her morning yoga. The breakfast was abundant, with everything of the finest quality. Being half Italian and having traveled to Italy since childhood, I found everything I cherish here: Italian hospitality, style, class, delicious food, a good selection of drinks, a property that stands out, and an owner couple who fulfill every wish. The pool, surrounded by lemon, pomegranate, and mandarin trees, was a delight. The most beautiful beaches of Salento are just a 10-minute drive away, and a great restaurant is only a two-minute walk from the Palazzo. Parking is conveniently free in the nearby side streets. Thank you for the wonderful time; we hope to return soon.

We had the most perfect stay at …. Manuela and Salvador are such wonderful hosts. They were so welcoming and always provided us with everything we needed and gave us some great recommendations on things to do in the area and places to eat for lunch and dinner. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, it had everything we required! The room felt very spacious and was extremely clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is equally as lovely as inside the property, the pool area is the perfect space to relax. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the outstanding reviews on the breakfast, and it really lived up to the expectations! The food was so fresh and delicious, we wish we could have Manuela and Salvador cook for us everyday haha. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the town where the hotel is located in Salve, and then the other surrounding areas were a little more lively so we had the best of both worlds. There are a few beautiful sandy and rocky beaches nearby which we really enjoyed too. Thank you again, we will be back!

We found heaven on earth during our trip through Puglia when we stumbled upon Manuela and Salvatore's B&B. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle yet just 3 km from the sea, this place is a true gem. The attention to detail they've put into renovating and decorating the house is incredible. In addition to the spacious rooms, we were treated to an amazing breakfast selection every morning. The garden and pool provide a perfect setting for relaxing in the sun, and the house serves as an ideal base for exploring the southern region of Apulia. We spent some wonderful days at Palazzo Frangipane in September. I cannot recommend the place enough. The historical structure is tastefully renovated and immaculately kept in place by the most charming owner couple Manuela and Salvatore. They are the true heart and soul of this magic place in deep Salento and will do everything to make your stay a memorable one. We felt the special flair of the place from the very moment we entered and were welcomed by Manuela with a warm smile. She had that talent for people you cannot learn, either you have it or not, and knows how to be always there when you need her and at the time leaving the guests all the freedom and liberty they need to unwind. She also has a superbe taste and has managed to integrate modern touches in that old palazzo structure that make the entire property worth being featured in Architectural Digest. Salvatore will prepare the BEST breakfast you can possibly imagine - he used to be a professional cook and top gastronomer - mixing authentic Italian flavors with some Asian touches. We loved every second of our stay and cannot recommend the place enough. The pool area is serene with wonderful views to the sea and some beautiful frangipani trees that are so much reminiscent of Bali or Thailand. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and everything smells incredible. Manuela was so kind and made us feel understood and welcome when we had to change rooms on our first night. This is what I call true guest service. The little town Salve is simply amazing if you want to get away from it all. It displays a central square with a wonderful church, has some restaurants and is really close to the wonderful coastline with white sand beaches and some nice beach clubs. The entire area is really affordable and very laid back, whilst at the time, catering very well to all kinds of „touristy“ needs. Please go there and do not hesitate to book Palazzo Frangipani. You will not regret it if you want a luxurious, highly individual Salento experience in a historical Palazzo with great hosts.

Our stay at Palazzo Frangipane was one of the highlights of our short trip to Puglia. Manuela and Salvatore are wonderful hosts. The breakfast was the best we have ever enjoyed in a B&B, lots of choice including delicious smoothies, fresh fruit and organic yoghurt enjoyed in stylish and relaxing surroundings. Our room was beautifully appointed as with the rest of the property, the perfect mix of old and new. We will definitely be back to visit Salve, even if just to stay at Palazzo Frangipane.
