Close to the beach. It is a calm area but far away from all the main bars, and restaurants. Overall, it is great if you don't mind spending 30min by bike or 45-50min by car to Berawa, Seminyak, etc. Keep in mind from the airport in traffic it will take 1.5-2 hours.

Cleaning staff didn't always lock the door after cleaning the room when we were out. So we were afraid our items would be stolen. Kitchen is shared for regular rooms, so as you can expect small and not too clean.

Staff didn't respond to some needs like changing the gas. In the bathroom, there is no ventilation.

New, clean guesthouse on a calm street near the beach ☺️

The staff are very friendly and the kitchen facilities are good. You can use the fridge, hob and there is drinking water available. The pool is nice for an afternoon dip and the location is good - not too far from a quiet beach but also driving distance from pererenan and canggu for restaurants and bars.

There is construction right next door. This should be mentioned in the information as it is very disruptive. It starts around 8am and goes on well into the evening, banging and drilling. I don’t want to be awake at 8am on a holiday so I wouldn’t have booked here if I knew. The first 3 nights I was in the room right next to the kitchen. I understand that this can’t be helped but you can hear everything through the glass doors to the room so at 2am I could hear someone making food. It just felt very loud a lot of the time! I don’t think it was worth the price in all honesty.

Good location, friendly and attentive staff, large and clean room. Quite place to sleep and near to beach and restaurants.

I liked the very well equipped room, the good working AC and WiFi, the very friendly and professional staff and the nice pool/kitchen area. For the price I have paid, considering the area, it was a bang for the buck.

I didn't like the location of the hotel because it is surrounded by grey walls and a noisy construction site. I was living downstairs directly in front of the kitchen area which was okay because there were no guests making noise and I didn't pay soooo much for the room . But the room was definitely lacking privacy. I think the management should be more transparent which kind of Room (location)you are booking.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Kasmaran …room (5 first floor) was really perfect! Very comfortable bed, lots of space, fantastic shower zone and bathroom and all new and fresh! The guest house is super well organised with a tidy share kitchen, large fridge, free coffee, tea and fresh water dispenser. The swimming pool was also super clean and a pleasure to use every day! Fabulous value for what’s on offer and it’s super close to the beach …so easy walking to neighbouring beaches on either side!

There is a new construction underway next door ..like most of Canggu but the noise level was minimal and there was no obvious dust or mess spreading into the GH as suggested by other reviewers. Only other small negative is that most of the staff are not speaking English so not helpful for local information or help. But despite that they are always friendly and try their best.
