Brilliant, clean and luxurious hotel close to Hue city but in a quiet setting (typically about 15 minutes in a grab taxi costing around 115k Dong or by taking the free hotel transfer). The staff were absolutely excellent and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The massages in the spa were the best we had during our stay in Vietnam, the food at breakfast and a la carte in the daytime were both really tasty and fresh. We particularly liked the egg station at breakfast over the weekend. Overall we would highly recommend staying for a couples break.

I stayed at Anhill with my family and we had a lovely stay. The rooms look much better in person than on the website... they're spacious, well-decorated, and spotless. We enjoyed being outside of the city but close enough to go into town by Grab or taxi. We ate twice at the restaurant and had long breakfasts at the buffet (so much to choose from!). The pool feels amazing after a long day exploring. Staff friendly with kids (offering fish feeding, etc). I did the morning yoga and it was different than what I've done before but great. Wonderful hotel set in beautiful Zen garden. Rooms are large, airy and modern. Staff incredibly attentive, polite and friendly. Food in restaurant was delicious and seemed authentically Vietnamese. It is about 15 minutes away from Hue which could be an issue for some, but it really was an oasis

Spa massage personal (Duyen, NGA, Ntli) were very good in massages and kindness. All happy to help us and smiled whole time. Because of how treated all three of us got massages (three myself when only planned for one). Will recommend to friends!!

Cool location, with a nice spa

Staying at The Anhill Boutique Hotel was truly a highlight of our trip to Hue. The property itself is stunning—like stepping into a Japanese zen garden with its serene landscaping, thoughtful design, and peaceful atmosphere. We booked the Executive Suite and were blown away by how spacious it was. The room had multiple balconies that overlooked the pool and gardens, offering beautiful views and a real sense of retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the mornings. The staff were both efficient and genuinely kind, striking the perfect balance of attentiveness without being overbearing. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a generous spread of options—everything from local dishes to more familiar Western choices—and the food quality was solid across the board. While the hotel isn’t located in the central part of Hue, that’s part of what makes it special. It’s just a short drive to the main attractions, yet tucked away in a quieter area that enhances the relaxing vibe. If you’re looking for a peaceful, design-forward stay in Hue with top-notch service and a touch of luxury, The Anhill Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice.

A wonderful place to relax a bit outside of Hue (15 min by taxi, $ 3-4 one ride). Enjoyed Dinner and particularly a so wonderful breakfast, and watch the Koi feeding. Many thanks

This hotel is beautiful. Our only regret is we only stayed one night when we visited Hue. It is an absolute oasis. The rooms are spacious and elegant. The pool and outside restaurant are magical. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. We had the best breakfast we ate in any hotel Vietnam- so much choice and delicious evening meal. I also want to recommend the spa. I had a wonderful facial with Ms Duyen.

The rooms and service were great. Everytime we re-entered the room it had been tidied up and they added nice little touches like leaving cookies or a book to read. My kids loved the golf cart taking us up and down the driveway and seeing the peacocks

It was a bit quiet around the restaurant, but that might have been down to the weather not being so nice during our stay.
