Casa Selva Sayulita

Very clean and modern rooms and unique concept. One major downfall was the location. It’s walkable to town but at night, there are not street lights on the way back which made us nervous. And it’s a longer walk. We didn’t get a room with a balcony but I wish we had so there was a place to hang outside. There were a lot of bugs by the pool so it wasn’t relaxing to lay out. It could have just been me, but the owner at the front desk did not seem friendly during two different encounters. Overall, a nice place but would stay closer to town on the beach next time.

Surrounding nature, wifi surprisingly worked well

Very steep stairs, hot water when showering lasts exactly one minute, uncomfortable mattress and you’re only given a thin blanket with the bed sheet, steep hills making it difficult to walk to surrounding restaurants or use a golf cart, no breakfast provided

We really enjoyed our stay. Communication was prompt, staff was wonderful, and the pool was amazing. We were able to relax in this oasis. We will definitely come back.

Peaceful Hotel

Great place to stay!

Loved the atmosphere and the aesthetic of the place, the pool was so nice and the room was so cool.

Wish they had better lighting in the rooms for when it gets dark, and the bed was not comfortable.

Beautiful use of space in a lush gorge on the north side of Sayulita. We were glad to be away from the bustle of town. Our room was a tree house that faced the ocean. Arranged for a golf cart to get around town but it was easily walkable. Path down to the beach right below the hotel. The pool was so nice too! Could have spent a week here.

Great location for those wanting to feel more in nature while still being a close walk to Sayulita. Easy check-in/check-out. Cabins are nicely designed. We didn’t notice any bugs, but there is mosquito netting on the beds just in case. As expected given the build of the cabins, there is little sound insulation. We expected this and it wasn’t an issue generally (in fact was nice to hear the nature noises — the 3am noises from other guests were less atmospheric, but we don’t blame this on the hotel at all), but if this is a dealbreaker for future guests, they might prefer a different property. Would choose to stay here again!

Very peaceful and away from the busy city center. The room was comfortable and very clean. Staff was exceptionally nice. Beach was only a few minutes walk away.
