Sound carries amongst the units so you have to be mindful of your neighbors.

Casa Selva in a gem in the jungle. It's just off the main road from that divides the beach front properties and is tucked away on the hillside. The individual bungalows are very unique with barn doors throughout. We had the queen room with kitchenette and loved that the bedroom was separated by a barn door. The shower was huge! All of the windows opened outward with enough tinting to maintain privacy. Each window had two vertical privacy curtains as well and there was a door on the far wall of the bedroom that opened up to the courtyard area with no screen for full open air. The breakfast on the top of the parking area was fantastic and made to order. It also had a partial view of the ocean. The walk to town took about 15 minutes but little bar/restaurant/businesses popped up along the walk too. To access the beach walk down the hill to the main road and then turn left as if going to town. There will be a beach access trail on the right about 50-100feet away. Not labeled but if you are looking it is very easy to spot. It is a quiet area and since they are made out of hard wood they are not sound proof. So keep that in mind but it was exactly what we wanted after a night on the town. Will100% book this place again.

Beautiful, quiet, ecologically responsible. Only downside is that the management is very low-key with no real reception desk, check in or check out, which makes it feel a bit deserted.

Beautiful property, jungle like setting with rustic but very comfortable cabins. Comfortable beds, mosquito netting, great hot shower, kitchenette, purified drinking water in room, very nice small swimming pool. Easy walk to beach. 20 minute walk to center of town with cobblestones and up & downs. Nice breakfast. Mostly nice staff. But not full service, be prepared to carry your own luggage.

Many cabins were up difficult spiral staircases. We asked for fewer steps and were happily in a cabin without many steps although access to the pool and breakfast involved steps. This is NOT a full service hotel. One morning we’re awakened early by likely iguanas scampering on our straw roof (although that’s part of choosing to stay in a jungly setting).

Loved the simple breakfast with a view and the quiet serenity of the whole location.

Nothing, pool could have been a little warmer but I think that was more a factor of it not being as cold outside.

Casa selva was a beautiful place to stay. It is literally for you to connect with nature. It was a cute cabin like stay. The pool was not that great there were only 4 chairs I wish it was a larger area. The breakfast was very delish. & the staff was very friendly. My husband and I cut our stay short bc a mosquito bit me in the eye and I had an allergic reaction so take repellent and close that net.

Room view too exposed to public. No privacy unless closed up blinds. Outside that wonderful.

Very beautiful surroundings, apartment was very cool.

Very steep road access and steep spiral staircase to the properties!
