Beautiful area. Quiet and peaceful. Cozy accommodations.

First, it was hard to find in pitch darkness. The building where you actually check in had a light up signs that said "Open" and "Bar". Nothing about office, check in here. Second, the sheets seemed clean but the room and the bathroom had a heavy odor of urine. It was totally disgusting. Third, the room was really hot so we turned on the air conditioner. Every time during the night when the air conditioner kicked in, it woke me up because it was so loud and the bed was right next to it so I could hear it running and felt the air kick in. Fourth, the bed was not comfortable. Had a terrible nights sleep. At 6:00am when the air conditioner kicked in, we just decided to get up and get ready and just leave. We went back to the "bar" to check out about 7:15am and it was closed, so I couldn't check out or get a printed receipt. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Only there for one night but enjoyed the quiet and the lakes

The auto entry without a phone needed was great, but wish the instructions would have been a little more clear. We kept trying to push the unlock after the code, should only use numbers. Room was very quiet but a little more dirt on the edges and a moldy looking mat in the tub, a bit more than would have like to see, but decent overall. We had a full fridge unit, which also had utensils and such. Since they are providing: a large bowl, veggie peeler and salt/pepper would have been nice, just for suggestions, but otherwise the extras were appreciated. Great property, lots of nice amenities, close to town, would choose again.

Great restaurant. Get the pretzel. Do great to sit outside and watch the boaters.

Mediocre stay: Check-in was conducted by a lady that did not even say hello or welcome me after I waited 5 minutes for her to appear at the registration desk. Room (#52) was rather small with a very small bathroom. Carpet had numerous stains. Amenities (which we did not use) seemed to include a nice beach area, docks, and a firepit with supplied wood. Parking was convenient and free. Price (just shy of $200 for a single night) high for what was provided. Overall, OK. You can likely do better for less $$$ in that area.

Absolutely beautiful!

We chose this property because it promised a picturesque stay with an on-site restaurant. After a long six-hour drive without stopping for food, I was really looking forward to relaxing on the porch and enjoying a nice meal. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the restaurant was closed for a private event. I was directed to a local bar instead, but it was packed, as dining options in the area are quite limited. What a letdown after such a long journey!
