La camera era fornita di tutti i confort necessari. Il bagno in comune era molto vicino alla stanza. Sia camera che bagno erano puliti. La cittadina di Forres è molto carina ed è un'ottima base per raggiungere Culloden e altri siti storici.

La tenda per oscurare la stanza fa passare comunque parecchia luce al mattino.

The room was a fair size and had what we needed. Although we didn't use them the drink token each we were given on arrival was a nice touch.

We were on the second floor pretty much above the front door, and boy did we know about it. The hotel provides ear plugs in that room, which we were confused by judging by how quiet it was at just gone 10pm ish when we arrived. By about half 10 - midnight there were extremely loud people outside, guessing the taxi rank next door is another reason. It was so loud for a second I thought it was people outside our room in the hotel! A woman ended up being arrested by about 2am, by about half 2 in the morning I was just about able to fall asleep, ear plugs in. Just what we needed after an 11hr journey! Basically, you get what you pay for and if sleep is important to you then I'd probably give it a miss..... staff were very polite/friendly though 👌🏼

No doubt it has been a fabulous old building. Bit tired around the edges now. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly.
