"Don't stay here!"

Nothing at all.

Not a very welcoming start, was just handed keys no directions to room. Booked this hotel with a bar but closed at 9pm when I was told 11pm, the weather was bad so came back to hotel early to find it locked up. Room needs a good update, wood chip wallpaper went out with the dinosaurs, had 2 hours sleep due to the window catch being broken wind was howling couldn't sleep, wallpaper hanging off the walls. King size bed with a double mattress! Slats were broken boards fell out the bed frame and thrown under the bed. False information given about having a bath tub. At breakfast I was aproached by both owners asking why anyone would live up north?! and started slagging it off! even though the landlady was northern and they both lived and work in Blackpool! Very rude comparing North to South which I didn't appreciate, left the breakfast felt uncomfortable whilst being watched eating. No choice for breakfast had to have a full English no other choice but it was satisfactory Couldn't wait to get out of the place! Will never stay there again was rude and too personal. Btw it was cold and radiators need bleeding.

The hosts were entertaining. Nice an quiet room. Comfy bed. Nice bar area, prices are okay.

A little dated and tired looking, could do with a revamp. Parts of the breakfast were cold, i.e. beans and mushrooms. Parking can be difficult (Not the hotels problem)

The lady and gentlemen that worked there ( sorry, didn't cat has their names, were so welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy. Very spacious and comfortable! The location was great not far from the sea front but out the way of the noise, would stay again great little place.
