Great place. Staff was very friendly. Only minor criticisms - could use a little more varied menu at Patterson and Captain and maybe a little more variety in the breakfast from day to day. However , the peach and burrata appetizer was a killer ( ordered with bread service from Patterson - should have bread service on the Captain menu )

"Excellent, realxing stay."

Stayed for a one night getaway for July 4. Pool was nice and we ate at the attached restaurant.

Moor pool loungers please and a some music around the pool would be fun too.

We loved our stay at Hotel Hartness. You are met with chic, elevated vibes as soon as you walk in. We got a balcony room on the first floor that faced the pool. The room was more spacious than it looked in the photos online and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed time at the pool and I was delighted to see that someone comes around to take food and drink orders. The complimentary breakfast was really nice - eggs, bacon, yogurt parfait, various breads and cereals were available each morning. There is a bar/lounge area with food and drinks, but also a higher end restaurant on site that unfortunately we didn't make it to. The drive into the city is about 20 minutes but it was nice to stay in a quieter area. Our only regret is not having more time here.

What a gem!! Definitely the place to stay when in Greenville, or even to visit specifically as a vacation. It’s not in the city (about 15min drive) and that’s the beauty of this place: it’s away from touristy stuff, and in the middle of nature, but close enough to the city that you can always go and visit. The service was 6 star! All the staff were super friendly, and while a part of it is “southern hospitality “, there for sure is an added factor of the culture of the hotel. Great dining options in the hotel, spa, surrounded by nature make this a must see.
