Hotel Hartness

Hotel Hartness is an incredible boutique hotel! I had never booked anything through Trip Advisor and this experience was a huge plus for my sister and me! The process was seamless and very affordable. I had had a question for the hotel and it was addressed the next day. Megan answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to make our one night trip a fun time for two sisters meeting halfway to celebrate a birthday! The outdoor pool was beautiful, the beach towels on every chair were very inviting, and while there is bar/food service on weekends, we were there on a weekday, so we brought our tea down to the pool. My sister went looking for some ice, and an employee immediately said he’d bring us some. He brought an entire ice bucket out to the pool and it was perfect! We ordered a takeout lunch from the Captain (restaurant on site), took it to the pool area to eat it, and it was delicious; however we could easily have split one “Smashburger” as it was a double decked hamburger with all the fixings and came with a huge portion of fries! Next time (and there definitely will be a next time) we’ll know to share!!!! The hotel is incredibly clean and the complementary breakfast was delicious. The ladies who prepared and serviced the breakfast area were darling and incredibly accommodating! We never used the bikes that were available because we were all about the pool, but we spoke to several people who did and they loved riding through the beautiful property! When it was time to leave, the food manager happened to be at the front desk as I was checking out. He insisted on helping to carry some of our bags to our cars. Suffice it to say, everyone at Hotel Hartness was genuinely kind and seemed happy to have us! We will return!

The pool, common areas and room are all beautiful. Food is very good. Friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, very clean well maintained rooms with comfortable bedding and spacious well equipped bathrooms. Attentive friendly Staff! We chose this hotel because of the close proximity to the Airport but wished we could have stayed a few days longer !

While this hotel is about 5 minutes from the city center, it turned out to be a great respite. The pool and bar was lovely. The trail system was a little confusing but I didn’t have a tonic time to figure it out. We took advantage of the beautiful outdoor lounge space after dinner and the room was very well appointed, even a hole to turn on the shower without getting wet. Finally the staff were very friendly and helpful.

25 of us spent 2 nights at Hartness for a family reunion. Everything about the experience was perfect! Convenient to airport & downtown, gorgeous accommodations, grounds and pool. The breakfast buffet and bar were great and the food at The Patterson Kitchen was exceptional. Heartily recommend this hotel and restaurant!

By far the most relaxing trip Ive taken. The calming atmosphere, the fast check-in, friendly staff. All was on point. Not to mention the aesthetics were breathtaking. I was amazed at the friendly environment. Dont get that everywhere. Cozy rooms, comfortable beds, robes. It was definitely a 10/10
